School Programs

School financial literacy

Short, practical money programs schools can say yes to quickly.

LHALEP offers 30-minute and 60-minute school sessions for grades 5-8 and high school. Students practice calm money decisions, plain-language financial literacy, and the habit of asking better questions before adult pressure arrives.

Education only. Sessions do not replace legal, tax, financial, insurance, or medical advice, and they do not ask students to disclose personal family financial details.
Grades 5-8

Money Choices That Make Sense

Students learn to separate needs, wants, and goals; name tradeoffs; and build a simple one-week spending plan.

High school

First Paycheck, First Budget, First Protection Plan

Students practice reading a paycheck scenario, building a starter budget, and asking better questions before signing or buying.
