About

About LHALEP

Plain-language education for families before decisions become emergencies.

Life Health & Legal Education Partners is a nonprofit education organization helping workers, students, families, employers, and community partners understand health coverage, employee benefits, and life and legal coverage questions in practical language.

What we do

LHALEP creates short courses, school programs, handouts, and partner-ready resources that help people slow down, organize questions, and find the next right resource. The work is intentionally practical: health coverage after job change, benefit decisions, how HMO/PPO and COBRA/ACA coverage work, life and legal coverage basics, and transition deadlines.
